The pre-trial hearing of nine Bultfontein police officers accused of murder has been postponed to October in the Welkom High Court.
This postponement follows the death of the attorney representing several of the accused.
The police officers are facing four counts of murder relating to a fatal shooting in September 2024, which claimed four lives.
They were arrested in April following an investigation by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate.
