FIFA says that Argentina will face an investigation into the ugly scenes at the end of the World Cup final in New Jersey. The world governing body's disciplinary committee has appointed an ethics prosecutor to assess what happened after the final whistle on Sunday night.
Following their 1-nil defeat, some Argentina players and an assistant coach were involved in violent altercations with Spanish players. Meanwhile, the Spanish celebrated their win with around two million fans in Madrid.
