Description
When making swords, most of the time is spent in front of the grinder. Grinding generates a lot of metal dust and that dust gets everywhere. Unfortunately, dust collection for metal dust is quite tricky. The sparks from grinding can create smoldering fires, and finely ground high-carbon steel burns surprisingly well. It's time to make my own metal dust collector. In part 5, I am completing the dust collector, make it look pretty and take it for a test!
Additional Ingredients:
16 gauge sheet metal: scraps from previous episodes
1in angle iron: scraps from previous episodes
2 commercial filter stages: 5 micron and 1 micron
Medium carbon bolts and nuts.
