Working on another simple blacksmithing projects, I am forging a flatter to be used with the power hammer. Anyone who is familiar with blacksmithing - from beginner blacksmith to experienced blacksmith - the work is about forging tools to forge other objects. In this case, my blacksmith forge, anvil and myself, will forge a flatter using the bottom swage I made in my last video.
I plan on using the flatter when forging axes which I hope to make a few videos about. In the meantime, forging this bottom swage will reveal some interesting mistakes I made which you may be able to learn from.
