The Lectric XP Lite 3 is a lightweight folding e-bike that starts around $800 but comes with features we normally expect to see on more expensive models.
In this review, we test its speed, power profiles, throttle, range, hill climbing, braking, folding system, handling, and overall ride quality.
Our upgraded test bike weighed just 53 lb and featured the larger 672Wh battery, Gates Carbon Belt Drive, suspension seatpost, fenders, and rear rack. Even the base model includes hydraulic disc brakes, a full-color display, integrated turn signals, and three different power profiles.
The XP Lite 3 also surprised us on the hill. Its 300W motor isn’t especially large, but it still completed our throttle hill test and performed better than we expected.
Overall, the XP Lite 3 delivers a strong mix of portability, simplicity, useful features, and value for riders looking for an approachable folding e-bike without spending a lot.
