Description
A college student says teachers shouldn't be allowed to carry guns in their classrooms.
Then an interviewer asks him a question.
Imagine an active shooter enters your school.
You have two classrooms to choose from.
**Classroom A:** A professor with a gun.
**Classroom B:** Students with cell phones who can call 911.
Which classroom would you rather be in?
His answer?
**“Obviously Classroom A.”**
And that's where the conversation gets interesting.
In this video, Colion Noir breaks down a viral PragerU street interview about gun control, armed teachers, and the difference between discussing school safety as a hypothetical policy and confronting an immediate threat.
We examine what voluntary armed-teacher programs could look like, including training requirements, safety standards, and the challenges of introducing firearms into schools.
We also discuss school security measures such as reinforced doors, access controls, and emergency response planning.
Because preventing a school shooting and responding to one that's already happening are two different challenges.
And both deserve serious consideration.
**Would you rather be in a classroom with a trained, armed teacher or one where everyone must wait for police to arrive?**
Watch the conversation and tell me what you think.
