The "gill tickler" is a series of chaotic episodes covering the fishing for the day and all the craziness that goes along with it.
In this video, I go on a saltwater fishing adventure in winter of 2025. I filmed and edited the video in a vlog style, showing all the shenanigans. My dad and I traveled from New York to South Carolina to go surf fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. It took us a couple days to drive to our hotel in South Carolina, and then we went fishing for four days at Edisto beach, and finally we spent a couple days driving home. We ate at a bunch of delicious fast food joints and restaurants, including Burger King, Hardee's, Wendy's, Five Guys, Fish Camp, China Town buffet, Swig and Swine, and more. On the first day of fishing, I caught six stingrays. On the second day of fishing, I caught four stingrays and two whiting. On the third day of fishing, I caught two stingrays and two whiting. On the fourth day of fishing, I caught two stingrays. I also was stung in the gut by one of the stingray's barbs, and I endured agony from the venom and infection and had to go to the clinic. I was surf fishing using shrimp and mullet as bait, and I had most of my success using three-way dropper rigs. I tried to show all the setups, tips, techniques, and details regarding how I was fishing. What an adventure it was!
