The "gill tickler" is a series of chaotic episodes covering the fishing for the day and all the craziness that goes along with it.
In this video, I go on a saltwater fishing adventure in spring of 2026. I filmed and edited the video in a vlog style, showing all the shenanigans. My dad and I traveled from New York to Virginia to go surf fishing from shore in the Atlantic Ocean. It took us a day to drive to our duplex in Virginia, and then we went fishing for several days at various spots around Assateague island, and finally we spent a day driving home. We ate incredible food each night at Steamers and Captain Zack's restaurants. For some of the days, the surf was too rough to fish, but we tried our best to work with the conditions. Off the beach, we ended up catching skates, whitings, and a stingray. I was fishing with shrimp and sand fleas for bait on slip sinker rigs and three-way dropper rigs. I tried to show all the setups, tips, techniques, and details regarding how I was fishing. What an adventure it was!
