Iconic Family Guy scenes turned Memes
Starting off we have ‘We’re all just blocking the Street’ which blew up quite recently despite debuting in 2017’s ‘The Peter Principal’. Specifically in a cutaway gag where Brian’s just trying to deliver a pizza, only for a Marching band to block his way and sing a catchy song about it.
Up next is the second most recent hyperfixated cutaway, Sneakers O’ Toole, who did not take his sneakers off. In the episode ‘Boys Do Cry’, Brian gives the best analogy to compare finding religious tolerance in Texas.
Next up is an oldie but a goodie, Peter hurting his knee in season 2’s ‘Wasted Challenge’. After finding the final silver scroll hidden in a Pawtucket Patriot Ale bottle, Peter sprints home through Quahog only to trip outside his house and lead to the funniest sharp teeth-hisses you’ve ever seen.
We can’t forget Peter’s numerous falls down the stairs in Season 10’s ‘The Blind Side’ after Lois replaced the old stairs that gave Stewie a splinter. Each time this happens, Peter shouts quite explicit language in agony... They would revisit this joke in season 18 where Peter shouts way more delicate phrases after hanging out with Caillou’s beta dad.
And lastly there’s the simple yet very effective Family Guy death pose. It became idolized in previous episode we just mentioned, but the pose has been around since at least season 2. This face down position with the top arm behind the back and the bottom one bent back on the ground is one of the earliest symbols of the show, fun fact, the pose itself is a reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
