A very rare Duracraft fan, the DP-121. This is the only polished brass 12" oscillating fan I'm aware of. The unit dates back to 1990 and was only sold for a short period of time. It appears to be identical (aside from the color scheme) to the multi-color version of this form factor.
These likely didn't sell very well due to the very high retail price of $29.99, which inflates to about $80 as of the time of this taping. It is a particularly nice looking fan and very iconic to the era, but that's about all that sets it apart from the rest of the models. The box brags about the unit endlessly, but the guts appear to be the same as the plain all-white model sold around the same time. The performance is about the same as well.
