DIY miniature log cabin with Authentic Log Joints

I’m building a miniature log cabin using wooden rods that mimic real logs. Each one is 8 mm in diameter and about 30 cm long. To make them stack neatly in the corner joints, I routed a curved groove along their entire length using an 8 mm round‑nose router bit. To hold each rod securely while milling, I made a simple jig by cutting an 8 mm‑by‑8 mm channel into a wooden strip. Using the same round‑nose bit and a homemade push block, I cut the end notches so the logs interlock at the corners just like in a full‑size cabin. I even build interior walls using the same joinery system. The result is a miniature wood house whose walls look surprisingly authentic, closely resembling traditional log‑cabin construction.
