“The People’s Princess,” Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd, surprised local girls’ athletes with a newly renovated court at Casa Linda Park in East Dallas. The sidelines read, “Every princess needs a court.” She unveiled the court in partnership with Cash App on Oct. 29.
“Dallas has welcomed me with open arms since I stepped foot here the day after the draft in April,” Fudd told The Dallas Morning News in an exclusive interview. “This is a small way that I can give flowers back to Dallas, the community, and just tell them thank you for everything they’ve done for me so far.”
