Description
At a Friday night lights matchup on Oct. 9 between The Colony and Community High School in Nevada, Community senior Robby Covington Jr. took the handoff and scored a touchdown. Although Community ultimately fell 45-3, his touchdown was an inspiring reminder of what makes Texas high school football special.
Robby, who is quadriplegic and has spent his life in a wheelchair, is a passionate football fan. When his school administration came up with the idea to honor him, The Colony was game.
