Spider-Man is a man of many titles this month, with a number of different stories running based on Peter Parker or offshoot characters. Symbiote Spider-Man #1 written by Peter David is set in the past and brings a new Mystery story to comics right before the new movie comes out. Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #5 from Tom Taylor gives Aunt May cancer, and Cult Of Carnage #1 will bring back some familiar faces, which might stretch all the way back to Maximum Carnage. The Amazing Spider-Man #19 continues with the Hunted story in Central Park.
However, on DC's side of the isle we will see Batman dominate again. Batman #68 continues the nightmares story with Selina Kyle and Lois Lane headed to the fortress of solitude for a bachelorette party. Nothing good can come of that, and we also have Batman Who Laughs #4, which will continue to unravel the role of Jim Gordon, his son, and there Grim Knight. To finish things up the Arkham Knight makes their debut in Detective Comics #1001 from Peter J Tomasi, and it will be interesting to see how they are received.
Also of interest is War of the Realms Journey Into Mystery #1 with the creators of The Adventure Zone, which should be tons of fun.
