🚨 Bill Maher DONE with Democrats?! 🚨
Bill Maher is doubling down. Weeks after telling JD Vance his vote is "in play" in 2028, Maher went on ABC News with Jonathan Karl and went further — calling Democrats "cowardly," saying he refuses to live in "communist America," and drawing his red line: "When we're cheering for the Intifada... I'm out."
And he's not alone. Senator John Fetterman told CNN's Jake Tapper he would leave the Democratic Party if turning against Israel becomes the party platform — amid ongoing reports that Republican senators, including Katie Britt, have been personally urging him to switch parties.
In this video, I break down Maher's full ABC interview, Fetterman's CNN comments, and what's driving the exodus: the rise of DSA candidates winning Democratic primaries, the DSA co-chair's Fox News interview defending socialism over American capitalism, and the antisemitism problem the party won't confront.
Then we get to the numbers. CNN's own data analyst Harry Enten calls the new polling "a big uh-oh" for Democrats — leading the generic ballot by only 4 points, compared to +12 in 2006 and +10 in 2018 before their wave midterm wins. I break down why that lead could shrink further: falling gas prices if the Iran conflict ends, cooling inflation, improving job numbers, and a massive Republican fundraising advantage heading into the midterm elections.
We also cover Democrats getting heckled by their own voters on the campaign trail — including the Texas town hall moment where James Talarico was shouted down.
Is Maher serious about voting Republican in 2028, or is it all talk? Let me know where you stand in the comments.
