You Liang has their debut release on Smash Deep with their ode to all the divas in the clubs around the world, Dancefloor Diva. The track compiles the feisty rhythms, powerful melodic synth lines and a groove that empowers the audience to express exactly how they feel through dance.
Dancefloor Diva weaves through dramatic build-ups with percussive movements encased in reverb to really fuel the track with fearless energy. A striking saw-wave synthesiser slices through the captivating, punchy baselines, giving the track a shock value that can only be described as fierce. The track oozes determination and liberation not only through the adrenaline-pumping music but also through the female vocal that echoes, ‘Can’t stop, won’t stop, this is my walk tonight’.
Singapore-born and Tokyo-based, You Liang is a DJ and producer creating piano-led house built around memorable melodies, emotional songwriting and deep grooves. More than 650 shows followed, built through two years of six-night-a-week Tokyo residencies before expanding across Asia and Europe — from monthly nights at WOMB and regular DJ appearances at ZEROTOKYO to festival stages and international showcases.
During the 2023 to mid-2026 ZEROTOKYO run, Resident Advisor listed You Liang among the venue's top three artists. You Liang was selected as a Pete Tong DJ Academy Future Talent at IMS Ibiza 2025 and named an Unsigned Only Music Awards EDM runner-up, with releases climbing iTunes and Beatport charts across multiple territories.
