Description
Rifleman says +50% damage, Boomerang says +40%. I put both talents on the same UIC15, same dummy, same build, and tested every shot in the shooting range with the damage log. On my build Rifleman is about +16.5%, not +50%, and Boomerang's shot after a return is +13%. Then Ranger, the talent that doesn't get watered down, and how much Rifleman uptime you actually need on the UIC15 and the Classic M1A.
Test numbers (UIC15, damage log):
- Body shot, no talent: 648,300
- Rifleman, 5 stacks: 755,800 (+16.6%), every headshot adds the same ~99,000
- Boomerang, shot after a return: 734,300 (+13.3%), about 4% more damage per shot on average
- Ranger: +2% per full 4 m (50 m = +24%), beats Boomerang's average from 8 m and full-stack Rifleman from ~36 m
- Rifleman uptime you need: 24% per shot, 39% on the UIC15 with reloads, 78% on the Classic M1A
- Artist's Tool (Perfect Rifleman, 11% x 6 stacks): about +22% on my build
