Description
Today’s video is a 4K macro collection of some of my favourite Venus flytrap catches that have gone wrong, with a few sundew encounters in there too. This carnivorous plant documentary looks at five ways plants and insects can end up in near misses, half-catches or completely failed attempts.
I look back at some of my strangest Venus flytrap moments, including traps that react too slowly, ones that never close, half-caught creatures, slime-covered escapes and catch failures that are simply bad luck at the last second.
Sundews also appear throughout the video, showing a different kind of carnivorous plant encounter where sticky tentacles, slow leaf movement and insect movement can create completely different outcomes.
