We pulled up to LZ World Tour at Raceway park (E-town) ready to drive and smoke some influencers. Our event chat was named "Influencer Beatdown Tour". Its obviously a joke, but you get the idea.
The World Tour runs a spec tire. Everyone runs Accelera 651 Sport 265/35/18 from Tire Streets. So it’s all on the driver and the setup, which is my kind of event.
We were on the stadium track at Englishtown Raceway Park, but E-town’s got everything from the road course, parking lot setups, and a SICK moto track. It’s been the backbone of drifting in the U.S. for a long time. There’s a reason everyone respects this place and its rad owners.
The battles were no joke! Going up against Adam LZ, Josiah Falaise, Rich Whiteman, and TJ Hunt… all absolute rippers.
We kept making the changes we needed, trusted the feel, talked a little sheet along the way… and just stayed in it.
We won the event by the smallest margins. Honestly the LZ and the Josiah runs could have gone again and I would'nt have argued. The transitions and duration of proximity ultimately got us the win. I knew I had to chase hard because the mustang and I dont vibe for lead runs, together we are just lame IMO.
That’s how it goes sometimes. Tight battles, small adjustments, and making it count when it matters.
