TRUCKERS, PAY ATTENTION!! Because the EPA’s new proposal could leave YOU holding the repair bill! 🚨
The Trump Administration and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin have been talking about cutting regulations, helping truckers, reducing costs, and rolling back burdensome emissions rules…
But is this latest EPA proposal actually helping the average American truck driver or shifting the cost from the manufacturer directly onto YOU?

The EPA has proposed major changes affecting Model Year 2027 and newer heavy-duty trucks and engines. While everyone is talking about changes to DEF derates and inducements, there is another part of this proposal that truckers need to be paying VERY close attention to:
⚠️ Changes to emissions warranty requirements.
Here’s the problem…
The EPA isn't simply eliminating all of the new emissions equipment and emissions requirements for 2027 trucks. These new trucks will still have to meet strict emissions standards and will still rely on expensive emissions-control technology.
But what happens if the required emissions equipment fails after the manufacturer’s warranty coverage ends?
💰 Who pays for the repair?
The trucking company?
The owner-operator?
YOU?!
Truck drivers buying these new trucks could become the real-world guinea pigs for the latest generation of emissions technology — and if that technology starts failing outside of warranty, the people who actually own and operate these trucks could be left holding the bill.
So I have to ask:
🔥 How exactly does rolling back the WARRANTY without rolling back the EMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS help the average American trucker?
🔥 Are manufacturers getting a break while truck owners take on more financial risk?
🔥 Could the cost of maintaining these complicated emissions systems be shifted directly onto owner-operators and trucking companies?
🔥 Are we about to repeat the same mistakes that truckers have already dealt with for years?
In this video, I break down the EPA's proposal and explain why truckers need to look beyond the headlines.
Because changing DEF derates may sound great…
But if your truck can keep driving while YOU are stuck paying thousands of dollars to repair the emissions system, did the government really save you any money?

💬 What do YOU think?
Is this a win for truckers?
Or is the EPA simply shifting the cost of emissions failures from the manufacturer to the person who owns the truck?
