Textures for gel printing are all around us and they don’t have to be fancy. It can be something as simple as some strings of thread and yarn. They create beautiful organic textures and the fun part is that you can use it as a mask first and then use the left over paint underneath the thread or yarn to pull a gorgeous ghost print.
✨ Tip: you don’t have to fill your entire plate with paint. You can choose to only cover parts and combine both a positive and a negative print on one background.

• Gelli Arts® 5x7 perfect borders set
• Speedball soft rubber brayer
• Acrylic paints
• Thread and yarn
• Any type of paper to print on (I used 65lb smooth card)
