Description
A stunning metallic green beetle gets caught on my Cape Sundew, with detailed close-up footage showing it moving through the sticky Drosera tentacles.
The beetle eventually manages to escape to the back of the leaf, but still cannot find its way off the plant. After watching it struggle around the sundew, I intervene and remove it.
At the end of the video, the beetle is returned to the garden and shown back on a dock leaf, feeding where it belongs. I also narrate the encounter and talk about this rarely noticed beetle.
