Beemster Royaal Grand Cru was named the world’s best cheese at the prestigious World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin.
It’s a Dutch cheese, so as a Dutchman, I obviously had to put it to the test. And what better way to test it than on a cheeseburger?
I grilled a juicy burger and let the cheese melt until it was perfectly creamy.
For the sauce, mix:
• 4 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp honey
• 2 tsp chili oil
The sweet and spicy sauce pairs perfectly with the rich, creamy cheese. The result? A cheeseburger every BBQ lover needs to try.
