The Moon has been our silent companion for billions of years, guiding the tides and lighting up the night. But it’s not as constant as it seems. Slowly, inch by inch, it drifts away, about 3.8 centimeters every year.
Will we ever lose it? In theory, yes, but long before that happens, the Sun will become a red giant, reshaping our entire solar system.
