Is there life 124 light-years away? Scientists using the James Webb Space Telescope have detected intriguing molecules. Methane, carbon dioxide, and possibly dimethyl sulfide (DMS) in the atmosphere of exoplanet K2-18b. On Earth, DMS is produced by marine life. Could this be a sign of alien life or just an unusual chemical process?
