I tried animating a six-legged walk cycle with AI for a creature I imagined, and it did not go smoothly. Turns out, getting six legs to move naturally is a challenge. But they could be needed on an alien planet with higher gravity.
Meet "Strider", one of the lifeforms I’ve imagined for Galaxia, a fictional planet I created as part of a larger worldbuilding project. Alongside Galaxia, seen in a previous video, I’ve designed three other planets: Cryonomad, Sporamutus, and my latest addition, Airalis. Each one has its own climate, gravity, and speculative ecosystem based on real science and a bit of imagination.
This short is just a glimpse into the creative chaos behind the scenes. A documentary is on the way, a deep dive into how alien environments might shape alien biology.
