Supro Headbox Build Reaches the Point of No Return - Part 2

ADDICTED TO GEAR Video 3 months ago

Description

In Part Two, I move deeper into the construction process, working through the cabinet layout, assembly, fitment, and all the small details that can either make or break a DIY amplifier headbox.

I’m not a professional woodworker, and I’m working with limited tools and experience, so this project is as much about problem-solving as it is about building the cabinet itself. There are a few challenges along the way, some lessons learned, and plenty of moments where the build could go completely sideways.

The goal is to transform my Supro Black Magick combo into a custom amp head that looks great, remains practical, and feels like something that could have come from the factory.

Will the headbox come together as planned, or have I taken on more than I can handle?

Watch Part Two and follow the build as it gets one step closer to completion.

Let me know in the comments what you think of the progress and what covering, piping, or finishing details you would choose.
