I purchased this camcorder with attached shotgun microphone ''in good faith'' only to find out that the plug-in 'shotgun mic' wasn't a microphone at all.....just a hollow piece of plastic ! (So much for ''good faith'')
The only microphone that worked was the built-in microphone in the camcorder. The so-called ''shotgun microphone'' was just a piece of hollow plastic !
As a matter of interest, the video quality of the cheap camcorder was so bad, I ended up disposing of it in the wheelie bin !
