Description

A look inside the ''bakelite brown'' 1948 AWA Radiola radio model 525-M

Main components on the topside of the chassis are the five tubes (valves), the mains transformer, a ''two gang'' tuning condenser (variable capacitor), two old disconnected electrolytic paper capacitors, a 5 inch speaker and speaker transformer, and two RF coils inside tin can shields.

The five tubes are:
6J8G (mixer/oscillator)
6SK7
6SQT
6V6GT
6X5GT.

I purchased this restored radio from ''georgeandmargaret25'' on Ebay (based in Watsonia, Victoria).
