To me he sounds a lot like Kevin DuBrow, and the whole thing reminds me of when AC/DC had to replace their lead singer. A: About three or four weeks ago I was searching for '80s music from my Generation X days and stumbled onto him singing Quiet Riot songs.
Q: Where can I see him perform with Quiet Riot?
A: The band just played the Whisky a Go Go, so try searching for that show. There's also what I believe is an audition tape from a radio station online.
Q: Does he sound like Kevin DuBrow?
A: To me he sounds a lot like Kevin DuBrow. He's full of energy, and it looks like the band is having fun with him.
Q: Why compare it to AC/DC?
A: It reminds me of when AC/DC had to switch lead singers after their singer died and needed someone who could really deliver. I think this kid is a perfect replacement.
Q: Why is a home repair channel talking about Quiet Riot?
A: We're a channel about fixing stuff, but I've always been into music too. My son is a really good drummer who's been playing since he was six.
