Description
Does an iron remover really get brake dust off your wheels? In this review I test Renegade Products Voodoo X Iron Remover and Blue Magic Tire Dressing on my Ford Bronco, with bonus footage on my wife's Mazda. Brake pads can contain metals like copper, and when they get hot that dust sticks to painted wheels. I spray Voodoo X on cool wheels, work it in with a soft brush, rinse it off, wash the truck, then finish with Blue Magic tire shine applied with a sponge. The result: wheels that look wicked clean and tires that are nice and shiny, but not too obnoxious.

❓ FAQ
Q: What does Voodoo X Iron Remover do?
A: It breaks down brake dust on your wheels. Brake pads can have metals like copper in them, and when they get hot the dust sticks to painted wheels. Voodoo X helps remove it easily.
Q: How do you use Voodoo X on wheels?
A: Put on gloves, make sure the wheels are cool (let them cool down if you've just been driving), spray the wheels and tires, work it into the nooks and crannies with a soft brush, then rinse it all off. Don't leave the product on the wheel.
Q: Do I need to scrub hard?
A: No. It didn't take much effort. A soft brush got into all the nooks and crannies, and the grime rinsed right off.
Q: How do you apply Blue Magic tire shine?
A: Clean the tires first, spray it on, then go around the tire with a sponge to spread it more evenly. I tried adjusting the nozzle and it didn't really spray any differently.
Q: Does Blue Magic leave a greasy, super-glossy look?
A: On my Bronco it covered really evenly and left the tires nice and shiny, but not too obnoxious.
Q: Does it work on other cars?
A: I also used both products on my wife's Mazda, and it came out nice and clean.
