RULES:
Mega Evolution Pokémon ex are considered named differently than the previous generation of Mega Pokémon EX as noted by the capitalization of the letters. Unlike their previous version, there is no special rules for playing them. Mega Evolution Pokémon ex can appear as Basic, State 1, or stage 2 pokemon. The stage 1 and 2 versions evolve from normal non-ex pokemon. Mega Evolution Pokémon ex are considered to be Pokémon ex, so any card effects that affect Pokémon ex also affect Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. When one of your Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.
