Phạm Thị Nga, known by her pen name Bích Huyền, is a Vietnamese educator, writer, and radio journalist currently residing in Orange County, Southern California’s Little Saigon. In Vietnam before 1975, she taught and worked at the Saigon Department of Education. She married Nguyễn Quang Hân, a former chief of staff at the Dalat Military Political Academy—whom she met at a friend’s wedding—and together they started a family despite the complex challenges of a blended past and her husband’s subsequent imprisonment. After emigrating to the United States, she has become a respected voice in the Vietnamese community through her journalism and radio work, sharing her personal experiences of loss, separation, and resilience during and after the turbulent wartime years.
