North Lanzarote’s Rare Blossom: Haría Valley, Famara Cliffs & the wild Northern Volcanoes

Description

In this video, we hike through the island’s northern landscapes to witness the rare blossom of 2026 up close: starting in the valley of Haría, climbing along the dramatic Famara cliffs, and continuing across the volcanoes of Los Helechos and Monte Corona. The journey concludes at sea, with a final sweeping view of the green‑washed Famara cliffs.

Winter 2026 brought unusually heavy rainfall to Lanzarote, transforming the island in a way rarely seen. By February, vast stretches of its typically harsh, desert‑like terrain had turned vibrant green, dotted with yellows and purples from the seasonal bloom.

Footage taken on February 10 & 11, 2026.
