A viral video showing a First AC coupe of the Nandigram Express decorated with flowers for a honeymoon couple has sparked nationwide debate. Indian Railways suspended the on-duty Ticket Examiner (TTE) and initiated legal action against the private decorator for allegedly entering the coach without authorization. Speaking to News Station, former senior railway official Shubhranshu questioned whether the action was too harsh, saying the temporary decoration caused no damage to railway property. He suggested that IRCTC could introduce a paid honeymoon coach decoration service for First AC passengers, offering a safe, authorized and customer-friendly experience.
