A viral video of a flower-decorated First AC coupe on the Nandigram Express for a honeymoon couple has ignited a nationwide debate. Indian Railways suspended the on-duty Ticket Examiner (TTE) and initiated legal action against the private decorator for allegedly entering the coach without authorization. Speaking to News Station, former senior railway official Shubhranshu said the response appeared disproportionate, noting that the temporary decoration caused no damage to railway property. He proposed that IRCTC introduce an authorized paid honeymoon decoration service for First AC passengers, offering a safe, regulated, and passenger-friendly experience similar to premium hotel services.
