Eleven years after Jigen's Gravestone (Cold and Bloody), eight years after Goemon's Bloodspray (Blood Oath) and six years after Fujiko's Lie (Blood Bee) we finally got a new Lupin III special by Takeshi Koike. It's Zenigata in not-Soviet-Russia. I already had my hopes up for the 2019 special to be a Zenigata story, but it turned out to be Fujiko.
Over the years I had a couple of ideas for what song to use for a potential Zenigata AMV. Though after watching this special I went in a different direction, using the SF6 main theme instead. I liked this song ever since first hearing bits of it in the SF6 teaser trailer. I had no plans to actually make an AMV to it, but after watching the new special it seemed like a good choice. I made some minor changes to the beginning and end though to better fit the narrative arc.
The Zenigata special is also setting up a larger movie currently in japanese theaters. I can't wait to check it out and there will probably be an AMV to it in the not so distant future. But for now i hope you have fun with this AMV. Special thanks to Andü, DaMasta and Pic4 for testing. Enjoy!
