Whenever watching 2008's Ghost in the Shell 2.0 remaster, i am so confused by the changes made. It's true that 1995's Ghost in the Shell has some bugs and weird defects and i understand the desire to fix some of those. But i feel like they went too far in a few places if you catch my drift.
This is an AMV idea i had over 10 years ago. Around 2023 i started working on the technical execution and how to best mix both movies. But i ultimately put the project on hold. Then came around amvde Secret Santa 2025 and a new opportunity to revive this project. It might not be the most sophisticated or well executed. All i hope is for it to make you share the bewilderment i feel.
