A few years ago I purchased this 14 x 30 canopy to use in the great smoky mountains while camping. When you purchase a canopy like this from tarps.com, you get the tarp, the bungees to attach the tarp to the frame and the fittings to connect the long poles. The long poles are top rails to a chain link fence. I had to purchase the long poles separately, in 20’ sticks, and cut them to length. The tarp in this video is a brand new, heavy duty, clear tarp that I received a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure I would like the tarp when I first saw it, because it looked more white, due to the white strings inside the tarp. Once I had the tarp opened up, it was easy to see that it was clear enough to allow plenty of light in the camp sight. The downside to a large canopy like this is that it is a good bit of extra bulk and weight to haul. For us, the benefits far outweigh any downside. With a large canopy we are able to keep the majority of the campsite and anything on it completely dry. I highly recommend a canopy from tarps.com, the website is user friendly and the customer service is second to none.
