Description
In this video, we hike through a chain of volcanoes in the island’s central region to admire the rare blossom of 2026. We take in the blossoms and sweeping views from Mount Testeyna, continue up to La Montañeta, descend toward Tesa, and walk along slopes draped in colorful blankets facing the sea. The journey concludes at dusk on the golden flanks of Montaña Blanca.
Winter 2026 brought unusually heavy rainfall to Lanzarote, transforming the island in a way rarely seen. By February, vast stretches of its typically harsh, desert‑like terrain had turned a vibrant green, sprinkled with yellows and purples from an exceptional seasonal bloom.
