説明
The closed beta for Killing Floor 3 is out. I've got my hands on it and been playing it extensively. In this run, I play Ninja. Killing Floor 3's new Melee perk. Ninja is a fast paced melee combat perk focused on precision and speed opposed to Berserker in the previous games. Ninja has an alt that is incredibly powerful, enabling you to set up for large kills and clear trash. I mainly used Ninja's on-perk weapons since there wasn't a ton of gameplay showcasing how the class functions at a higher level.
I beat Hell on Earth using Ninja severely under leveled which made this run quite difficult. It was not easy. Playing HoE solo, is hard. The ninja run could of been a challenge video on it's own. Not having half of my skill sets not unlocked made for a challenging run. I want to remind the viewer that the gameplay you see isn't a full representation of the perk can really do. Fully maxed out, Ninja is powerful. When I max the perk out, I'll be covering skill sets and playstyles for it, stay tuned.
Ninja feedback
This perk still needs improvement to uphold the games only melee oriented perk. Ninja has tons of potential to be an engaging perk. The movement doesn't transition well into sliding, and dashing. Melee combat can be janky at times. A huge critique I have is Ninja can be grabbed by clots. Which goes against the design of how melee combat functions in Killing Floor. It takes control away from the player and is very difficult to counter during melee combat breaking the flow and synergy with the perk.
It does feel strange not having an intro to go with some gameplay. However, until I figure out a nice format to structure Killing Floor 3 I'll be experimenting seeing what works with accompanying raw gameplay. I'll be covering Killing Floor 3 until the closed beta ends. Uploads will be spread out throughout the weeks. I'll be mainly focusing on playing perks with their respective weapons. I have more feedback regarding other perks and features but I'll save it until new uploads are out. And for anybody wondering if I'll still be covering KF1 and KF2 don't worry. I plan to continue what I've been playing since the start. Thanks for watching!
