Description
Since forming in 2019, London duo Kassian (@kassiansound ) – Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers – have been forging their own raw, hardware-driven take on UK techno, blurring the boundaries the genre shares with UK garage, electro, house and breakbeat. Following the release of their debut album, Channels, last year, the pair have just returned with their latest EP, Gradients, on !K7.
Ahead of the release, we paid a visit to Kassian's 38East studio for a sprawling track-from-scratch session in which the pair showed us how they turn a hardware jam session into a carefully sculpted club track.
