Description
A motivating conversation with Jill Douka MBA, MCC, Director of the Global Academy of Coaching, recorded during the Creative Women Forum Saudi Arabia 2025.
Jill Douka is an internationally recognised coach and leadership mentor dedicated to helping women step fully into their power. Through the Global Academy of Coaching, she trains leaders and coaches worldwide, with a strong focus on confidence, self-belief, and purposeful action.
In the interview, Jill spoke about women’s leadership as an inside-out process — one that begins with believing in one’s own ability to create change. She highlighted the common tendency for women to hold back, despite possessing extraordinary talents, and emphasised the importance of visibility, courage, and consistent action.
Jill shared her coaching philosophy of “baby steps”, encouraging women to strengthen confidence by taking daily actions beyond their comfort zone. She also addressed the fear of failure, reframing it as a necessary and productive part of leadership growth. Another key theme was the power of community — particularly women supporting one another and learning to ask for help without shame.
Connecting her work to the forum’s theme, Jill reflected on empowerment and sustainability as essential pillars of leadership. She described the Creative Women Forum as a vital platform for reflection, growth, and collective momentum, and expressed her enthusiasm for being part of Saudi Arabia’s evolving leadership landscape for women.
