Description

We are incredibly grateful to have had Alex Davies-Jones as the principal host of our Parliamentary Society Assembly at the House of Commons.

Until recently serving as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Victims at the Ministry of Justice, Alex has dedicated much of her career to championing victims’ rights, protecting vulnerable individuals, and creating safer environments for young people both online and offline.

Her support of our Assembly has been invaluable and reinforces the importance of the conversations we continue to bring to Parliament.

During the Assembly, we addressed critical challenges facing the creative industries. Research shows that more than 40% of people working across the arts, fashion, film, television, social media, and entertainment sectors have experienced or witnessed bullying, harassment, discrimination, or abuse during their careers.

These are not just statistics—they represent real people and real experiences that require action.

As our Assembly theme reminded us, Make Influence Meaningful Together, we all have a responsibility to help create safer, more respectful, and more supportive environments for future generations.

Thank you, Alex Davies-Jones MP, for your leadership, commitment, and continued support.
