These songs helped me process the grief of losing my father during the pandemic. Some of these songs are extremely sad as you'd expect, while others are hopeful. I'm grateful that I found music again in my life after having put it on hold for nearly 16 months... I really didn't think there was a place for it anymore. I found other creative outlets - writing filled much of my free time. I lost all interest in creating music or even listening to music. I did a lot of soul searching in 2021 and 2022. My journal entries ended up finding there way into these songs in one form or another.
I haven't been too consistent with my content, but that's never been the reason for doing this. Sometimes we just need an outlet of expression and we move when compelled to.
