I’m getting ready to order my 2027 Nitro Z20 XL, and buying a new bass boat means making a lot of expensive decisions that can affect how the boat fishes, how easy it is to maintain and even how easy it is to sell later. At the Ultimate Angler Expo I walked through Nitro, Ranger and Tracker bass boats looking at color combinations, storage, cockpit flooring, full foam decking, accessories and the options I think are actually worth spending money on. I’m leaning toward a darker black-granite boat with red and silver accents, but resale matters too, so I need your help deciding what the next boat should look like.
