Description
Want to stop fishing over-pressured waters and start finding hidden, uncrowded fishing lakes? In this video, I walk you step-by-step through how to use Google Maps, AI tools like ChatGPT, and proven scouting tactics to find the best fishing spots near you.
Whether you're looking for hidden bass ponds, uncrowded crappie lakes, or secret access points, combining satellite mapping with AI research will completely change how you scout water. Some of the best bass fishing lakes are the ones almost nobody talks about, and there’s a simple system I use to find them before I ever put the boat in the water. In this video I break down how I use Google Maps satellite imagery, AI-assisted search in Chrome, state DNR lake information, bottom composition, fishing regulations, tournament pressure, wind direction, lake size, access points and boat ramps to identify overlooked fishing lakes that could be worth exploring. I used that exact process to find this remote lake seven miles down a dirt road, then caught roughly 40–50 bass while having almost the entire place to myself. I’ll also show you what I look for once I launch, including side-scan sonar, rock, grass, bait position and water-column activity, so you can quickly decide where bass are likely to be. If you’re tired of fishing crowded destination lakes and heavily pressured tournament fisheries, this is how I combine Google Maps, AI search tools and traditional fisheries research to hunt for smaller, low-pressure bass lakes that most anglers completely overlook.
