Description
One missing windshield was all it took to sideline this original Hot Wheels Hot Heap for decades.
Since replacement parts were impossible to find, I modified a windshield from a 25th Anniversary Patty Wagon, restored the original Spectraflame finish in Antifreeze Green, and shared a painting method that produced far better results than the factory mixing ratios.
Sometimes the best restoration starts by making the missing parts yourself.
