I Restored This VW With One Simple Paint Change..

Today we're restoring an original Hot Wheels Redline Custom Volkswagen in one of its most desirable factory colours.

Instead of using my usual Spectraflame process, I experimented with a new method by tinting automotive clear coat with transparent orange. The goal was a deeper, more durable finish while still keeping that classic Redline shine. After polishing the original zinc body, cleaning up the factory parts, and a few final touch-ups, this vintage Volkswagen is back on the road.
