The Hood Fell Apart In My Hands Before I Could Get Started....

Diecast Resurrection Video 26 days ago

Description

This Thunderbird restoration did not go according to plan.

What started as a simple factory-style Redline restoration quickly turned into a battle with brittle reproduction parts, broken hood pins, late-night problem solving, and an unexpected custom gold paint experiment.

After fighting through replacement hood issues, cleaning up decades of wear, restoring the base, and adding a fresh vinyl top, we ended up with a unique color-shifting Thunderbird that wasn't exactly factory correct... but might be even cooler.

Sometimes the project decides what it's going to become.
